ASOS Summer Edit

ASOS Summer Edit

I do spend a lot of time on ASOS. I browse their website quite often. Just to check, see what’s new. And no, I don’t always give in, I swear! The offering is so large that there is no way you won’t find something you like! When I need (or not) something, ASOS is the first place I can think of. It’s so handy! So now you got it: I love ASOS!

Yes, as I just said, the offering is extremely large. Thus, most of us will get tired of browsing the website long before we find that piece of clothes we’re looking for. Hence my ASOS Summer Edit with few of the pieces I really like this summer to give you a little inspiration.

Romantic Pastel

I think pastel colors are perfect for summer. They go really well with a little tan, as it creates a nice contrast. I am someone that goes more for brighter colors in summer while sticking to dark colors in winter. I spotted really niece pastel pieces. Pastel colors are quite neutral but also look really fresh.  They can be mismatched easily and combination possibilities are endless. Black goes with everything so black shoes will be a nice addition to any look! Two pieces in this selection really got to my heart: the sequin kimono and the cross-back dress. I love the cross-back dress. So romantic. It’s a piece I would wear really often (if the sun finally shows up).

Eternal monochrome

Black and white are classics. They are neutral. Pieces in those colors are timeless. I adopt the all-black look quite often in winter. Yet, black is not really appropriate for summer. That is why you need to combine black with white or with any other shades in the spectrum. Black pieces add a chic touch to any outfit while white will brighten up your wardrobe. Although they may not always be practical to wear, I really love jumpsuits. This white with black stripes jumpsuit really caught my eyes. I also fell in love with that back tutu midi skirt. A pastel color such as lilac or peach would go really well with the skirt.

Pop colour

As I already mentioned, bright colors are more of my colors. I have a natural tan, which creates a cool contrast. Although green, orange and pink have for long been my favourites, I am trying to go bolder and choose other colors. This Moschino red dress really looks cool. Trying yellow would also be a really nice move. I really like the skirt, which would go perfectly with a white t-shirt and those pompom sandals. They are so cute and funny! I guess you must really make sure the sun is out before wearing them. I am afraid the rain would not do them much good.
