There are those TV shows we always get back to. We know them by heart but we binge watch them over and over again. Gossip Girl for example. What a good show. Yet, from time to time, we need to make new discoveries, whether it is from our laptops or from a TV screen, like the Ultra HD TV Panasonic for example. From new series to new TV shows, here are 5 must-sees this November.
1. Stranger Things
When Stranger Things came out last year, it received critical acclaim. We’ve got to admit it, it’s an amazing show, with a great storyline, soundtrack and atmosphere. The echo to the 80s is brilliant. We have been binge watching season 1 and got all really excited when it was renewed for a season 2. After one year waiting, here it is. Available just before Halloween. Best timing in the world. And another excuse to stay in bed all weekend long with a cup of tea in one hand, a cookie in the other and your laptop on your laps for nine episodes. A pure moment of joy.
2. The Defenders
Netflix got a habit of producing Marvel related content lately. We would not complain. We have loved Daredevil, even more Jessica Jones, followed Luke Cage in his adventures and maybe not so much enjoyed Iron Fist. It is just a personal opinion. You might have loved him. So imagine our joy when Netflix decided to gather all four in a mini-series! What a thrill! After waiting for it, then forgetting about it, it was finally time to watch the show and see these heroes try to get along together. The dialogues are on point, Jessica Jones is still the best and we spent another weekend in just enjoying some fighting and lots of sarcasm.
Let’s be honest just a minute. Riverdale is the most cliché TV show ever: american high school, football team, cheerleaders, music band, cliques and popularity race. All the ingredients are there to make it a show we will all love. And we do! How thrilled were we when we found out we would not even have to wait a whole year before season 2?! Because it is already there! We’re gonna say hi to Archie and watch all the episodes already out over the weekend!
Raise your hand if you miss Gossip Girl. Six seasons of the best show in the world: New York City, amazing fashion and Chuck Bass. CHUCK BASS people! We needed a new TV show to fill the gap that Gossip Girl left in our heart. We got Dynasty. A reboot of the 1981 TV show. Not quite like Gossip Girl though. Plotting and scheming might still be at the center of the plot, it’s family and a group of friends that is the focus of the action. We will go with that though and give a chance to the show. We are given so little information in each new episode that we have to keep watching if we want answers to our questions.
5. The Good Place
After she dies in rather ridiculous circumstances, Eleanor wakes up in the after-life, in the Good Place. Thing is, she never was a good person while alive and so her presence in heaven is a mistake that she tries to hide. This summary sounds good, right? And you can get that from there, things can only go wrong. And they do, in an hilarious way! So if you are looking for a new show to binge watch, this one is for you. Season 2 started so you have some catching up to do!
What are your favorite TV shows? Do you often spend an entire weekend just watching a series? What will you binge watch next? Any of our recommendations? Have you already seen them?
We hope you liked this post. Thanks for reading.
