Brand Focus: Ermana Skincare

Brand Focus: Ermana Skincare

Something we love with blogging is that we get to discover and try amazing fashion and beauty brands. Sometimes they are widely known, some other times they are undisclosed yet with great potential! This month, we sharing with you one of or great discoveries: Ermana Skincare, a natural and organic skincare brand, with which we’re already in love!

First thing first, let’s talk about the brand itself. Ermana is a scottish skincare brand that uses UK based suppliers only. Everything, from the ingredients to the packaging and the bottles is made in Britain. The ingredients are organic and natural and all products are cruelty free (what else can we ask for?).

Let’s move onto the products we were sent and tried!

Ermana’s Body Oils

Ermana Nurture Body Oil – Kirsty

Emana kindly sent me their Nurture Oil, which contains Neroli, Petitgrain & Ylang Ylang as well as other great oils. This oil was made for dry skin, to keep it moisturized and toned.

At first I wasn’t a big fan of the smell. As it is 100% natural no perfume has been added. So it isn’t unbearable, but I’m used to body lotions with perfume in them and not body oils. However after a couple of times using it I now really like it.

I personally have dry skin. Especially during winter, and as you know this winter has been pretty weird! Going from hot to cold over night, and my skin somehow doesn’t cope with that. So it’s become very patchy and uncomfortable (I’ll spare you the details). I couldn’t be more grateful towards Ermana for sending me this oil back in November! It really has come at the best time.

You can either use this oil on it’s own, or add a few drops in your body lotions. As you can see the bottle comes with a little pump which makes it really easy to dose. I like to put a bit of body lotion in my hand and ad 3 drops of oil. Then I apply the combination on my skin. When I have dry patches I apply a few more drop on those areas at the end to nourish my skin a little more. My skin really feels moisturized and soft after applying this oil and I love it!

I would really recommend this oil to people that are looking for quality products for their dry skin. The oil penetrates quickly into your skin and doesn’t leave your skin greasy or sticky. Which is perfect if you moisturize your skin in the morning. I’m definitely going to buy another bottle once I finish mine. It may seem like a little bottle but if you use it carefully it goes a long way.

And how cute is that packaging? I really like it, it’s simple and really pretty. I admit I really want to colour in the leaves on the box, but I won’t as it’s really pretty all white 😀

Ermana Refine Body Oil – Corinne

Ermana

Ermana sent me the Refine Body Oil with Cyprus, Grapefruit and Bergamot. The oil is suitable for all skin types. It is ideal to me since my skin is mixed yet quite sensitive. Application happens thanks to a pipette, which makes it both easy and precise. I particularly like the fact that I can use a few drops of oil only.

The oil smells really good. Bergamot is one of my favorite scents! The balance between all three scents is perfect and the scent itself is not too strong. So far, I have used the body oil for massages or to give a little kick to dry areas of my body. As already mentioned, the pipette allows a quick and precise application. A few drops are enough, which makes absorption so quick. The sensation is really nice, my skin looks and feels healthier and smoother.

I really enjoyed using the oil. The design and packaging are really nice. The smell is gorgeous and the product easy to use. I would recommend it without hesitating. It’s an amazing gift idea for a friend, your mum or a girlfriend or even as treat for yourself!

Did you know about Ermana before? How do you take care of your skin? Any tips? 😀

See you soon, love

Corinne & Kirsty

They do! At least for us 🙂 but the packaging and formula make them great. Kirsty has tried some oils before but these ones are great because they are not too greasy & sticky, but are really moisturizing x

Same! I’ve tried some oils as makeup remover or to moisturize my skin and can never bare the stickiness so I use them before bed ^^ but these really penetrate quickly into your skin 🙂 x -K

I have really dry skin and have tried every moisturizer out there to try to combat it! I love the look of this oil and will definitely be looking into it to save my dry skin especially in the winter.

I am tempted to try something like this! I have dry skin and use Coco Butter which is great, but i’m willing to try something new. How long would you say one bottle of this oil lasts for?

Oh I love the sound of the natural body oil tbh. I think I’d definetly give that a go. I always love stuff like this that have the dropper, it’s so handy. It’s great you can add it into lotion as well, really handy!

It is! I’ve tried some oils that don’t have the dropper and it’s such a pain! x -K

    Great post girls

I’ve never really used body oil before. (I’m lazy enough when it comes to lotion.)
Might have to give it a try!

Oils are normally more nourishing than lotions, so you need to use them less 🙂 which is good for lazy people like us :p x

I have always wanted to try a body oil but wondered if it would be too greasy for my liking but these just sound lovely and love the fact that they are made in the UK!
