Kirsty’s Travel Wishlist

Kirsty’s Travel Wishlist

Hi lovelies and welcome back! As most of us are still on holiday, will soon be on holiday, or simply just love travelling I thought I’d put together my travel wishlist for you today.

Places I’d Love To Travel To

I was lucky enough to travel a lot, with my parents, school and friends. I was able to spend holidays in Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, England & Scotland. If for some this can seem a lot, I feel like it isn’t. Yes, I have the travel bug. I itch to visit more places whether it’s in France (where I live) or new countries. Like most of you I am lucky to live un Europe, which means we have a tone of countries we can visit easily and sometimes for hardly nothing at all! So why waste more time? Here are some of the countries I aim to visit this year (school year) or at least during the next 2 or 3 years.

Moscow, Russia

Now this one was always at the back of my mind, but now it’s at the top of my list for one simple reason: this is my birthday present. You might think it’s an odd birthday present, however being a ballet junky my parents thought the best way to celebrate my 25th birthday, my quarter of a century, would be by spending a few days in Moscow to explore the beautiful gems it holds, and cherry on the big fat cake: see a ballet at the Bolshoรฏ. Needless to say they have totally nailed it!

This is an dream adventure Corinne and I share, and that we will hopefully be able to do together one day. We would love to do a road trip around Iceland. See those beautiful landscapes, swim in that gorgeous Blue Lagoon, see aurore borealis and many other fun things. So if anyone that can make this possible sees this post: we are up for a sponsored holiday, we would totally do a travel vlog & blogpost about it in exchange ๐Ÿ˜€

You might have gathered by now, I’m more of a northern girl than a Mediterranean chica, I just love northern countries and prefer autumn & winter to the hotter seasons… However I would love to experience Canada in spring, autumn and winter. How can someone choose? The country looks beautiful in all three seasons… And one of the main reasons I want to visit Canada is because legally I’m Canadian, but have never stepped foot in my own country (shame on my I know..).

Coming back to Europe, I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland. I love the music, the dancing and the landscapes look amazing! I really want to visit the Giant’s Causeway, it seems like the most amazing thing and the Titanic museum (cheesy I know, but I’m obsessed with anything Titanic related).

There are obviously many more places I’d like to visit, like Amsterdam or go back to Italy to visitย Cinque Terra, but I guess I have to keep some material for a second wishlist ๐Ÿ˜‰

What is on your travel wishlist for the next few years?

See you soon, love

I’m based in the US with little kids, and while that shouldn’t prevent travel to Europe or other far-away places, it has for us. I’m a warm weather girl so for me, I’d love to go to Spain, Italy, and Greece although it’s not likely to happen in the next few years. I will likely be heading to France next year though!

    • September 5, 2017 / 1:16 pm

That great! If you’re in France you should definitely make a little detour and visit Spain or Italy for a couple of days ๐Ÿ™‚ You can get there in an hour so it would be a shame not too :p x

  8. August 24, 2017 / 4:40 pm

Oooh, you’re already so well travelled, Kirsten! But you’ve picked some great spots to fill in the gaps. My best friend’s parents went to Iceland recently and I’ve heard it’s amazing! I also really adore Canada, so it’s worth a flight across the Atlantic!

    • September 5, 2017 / 1:17 pm

I honestly can’t wait to save enough money to travel again ๐Ÿ˜€ everyone says these countries are great which makes me even more impatient ^^ x

I am a Mediterranean Girl, born in Croatia. I lived in 7 European countries so far and travel a lot due to my work. I have seen most of Europe and parts of Asia but never been to the US or Canada but I would love to see it. Especially the giant lakes. Must be an amazing sight to look at massive open water and knowing it is “just” a lake. =D

I’m not so much of a travel fanatic, but I do love to actually move to new places and experience life there for a little bit. I’ve moved around a lot, so it’s something I’ve come to enjoy. It’s always wonderful experiencing different lifestyles around the world – even just around the United States, too. Every state is so different from each other.
