Rekorderlig Cider & Lagom Summer Tour

Rekorderlig Cider & Lagom Summer Tour

Summer has officially began! The sun is playing hide and seek at the moment, but no doubt it will get hot again (we hope). And we have just what you will need when that time comes! Ever heard of Rekordelig cider?…

Your New Favourite Cider

A few weeks ago we received an email from the kind people from Rekordelig Cider, asking if we would like to work with them. Being cider lovers we couldn’t resist! Who doesn’t enjoy a cold glass of cider on a hot summer evening?

The Brand

As you may have guest Rekordelig has Swedish roots and is a family-brewed cider brand. This cider is made with the purest Swedish spring water, and comes in several different flavors such as Strawberry & Lime, Wild Berries, Passionfruit and Mango & Raspberry. In other words a flavour to suit everyone on a hot summer evening! Their motto is “Lagom” which literally means not too little, not too much, just the right amount. But isn’t it what we all need to be happy?!

Rekorderlig Cider

Rekorderlig Cider

The Cider

We both grew up in Normandy, in France, which is the one of the French regions of cider. Indeed, the place is known for apple tree fields for as far as the eye can see. As a matter of fact, cider is a bit of a sacred tradition there. However, we would not dare call ourselves connoisseurs. But because we’ve been drinking cider since we were quite young, we can recognize good cider.

Made from the purest Swedish spring water, Rekorderlig cider has multiple flavors: Strawberry-Lime, Wild Berries, Passionfruit, and Mango-Raspberry. They might seem unusual, especially to girls who grew up drinking apple cider but we are sure you’ll love them as much as we did. The cider is really sweet but the flavors are not too strong which makes it super easy to drink and refreshing. Corinne’s favorite is mango-raspberry. The two flavors blend in so well together!

Those who know Corinne know that you will either find her reading a book or riding her bike. Two of the many things that make her genuinely happy. Thus, it looks absolutely natural to her to bring some cider during one of her many rides through Manchester (where the Lagom sampling van will be on the 21st of July) and reading sessions in the park. They say Rekorderlig Cider appeals to those with unique lifestyles looking for experience and adventure. No need to go to the other side of the world to find adventures. Corinne finds adventures in my city and in the many books she reads. Now along with drinking some delicious fruity cider in the sun!

Rekorderlig goes hand in hand with Lagom, a concept according to which you just need the right amount to be happy. We all find happiness in different ways. Biking through Manchester, living incredible adventures through amazing stories and chilling at the park are those pleasures of life that makes Corinne happy. And she will be happily adding some mango-raspberry cider to this list!

If you want to see for yourserlf, don’t miss out their Lagom Summer tour with their sampling van. It’s your occasion to taste some of their delicious cider! Starting on the 15th of June and finishing on the 23rd of July, you really don’t want to miss it. Manchester kids around there? The sampling van will be in our beautiful city on the 21st!

I love Rekorderlig, its my favourite cider. I’m not too keen on the mango-raspberry though, but probably as I’m more accustomed to the strawberry and lime flavour. It’s such a nice drink and now I’m really in the mood for some aha. Gutted though as the dates for when the tour is near me have already gone by. Lovely post by the way

  47. July 4, 2017 / 2:02 pm

I didn’t know about Rekorderlig before. Is it safe to drink early in the morning, or is it too acidic for those with sensitive stomachs? The wild berries variant is the most interesting for me.

    • July 5, 2017 / 3:12 pm

This sounds delicious! I’ve only had one type of cider, and it was a Japanese type. I really, really love it though. It’s really hard to find where I live now, so I always crave it. Unfortunately, I don’t think they have Rekorderlig around here, otherwise, I would love to try it! I think it would be such a perfect way to cool off during these hot and humid summer days.

When I hear the word Cider, only comes to mind. I did not know that so many other fruits can also be made into cider. When you say Cider, is this an alcoholic drink? I would like to try it out, but I do not like alcoholic drinks.

  58. July 5, 2017 / 1:04 am

I’m actually intrigued about the taste. Can you please describe it further. Is it sweet? Bitter? Bitter-sweet maybe? How’s the texture? Does it have that feeling where you want to rest it up a bit inside your mouth for about a second or two before you let it down your throat?

  59. July 5, 2017 / 4:50 am

Mmmmm, one delicious drink right there! I would love this tour!

  60. July 5, 2017 / 5:48 am

Looks like a great brand. I’d love to try the strawberry cider.

  62. July 5, 2017 / 1:40 pm

I’ve never heard of this brand before. I’m a big fan of ciders though so I hope to see it one day! 😀

  63. July 5, 2017 / 2:16 pm

No wonder why our local spring water sold in a bottle has different flavor. I thought that it is only a marketing technique to make that mineral water clicked in the market. Now I get the very essence here why this cider, a spring water has various flavor to select from. I don’t know if our local water producer gets that idea from here.

  64. July 5, 2017 / 2:36 pm

I love fruit ciders. I prefer the lime flavor. That summer tour is so nice! I hope there would also be that event near our location.
