Geek Chic Monthly is the latest collaboration I have worked on. It is a company that is relatively new, which is why I assume you may not know it. But here you are, to know more about it and read my review of their products.
Geek Chic Monthly has been founded by Amy. It is a monthly box, but beware, not any subscription box. The founder is a massive fan of video games, books, manga and so many other things. That’s why she created this monthly geeky box. Hence the name.
Like any other subscription box, you can choose your bundle: one month, three months, six months or one year. One box by itself costs $15 plus delivery fees. Geek Chic Monthly is dedicated to help small businesses, which I think is admirable! Thus, every month, they’ll include an exclusive handmade item from a small business. If you have one yourself, you can get in touched to have your product included in a box!
Each box contains three pieces of jewellery and one to two extra items. The most interesting thing is that each month is themed according to a different major fandom. It can be a book, a movie, a comics. There has been a Harry Potter box, a Supernatural, a Gotham city, etc..
My box’s theme is Guardians of the Galaxy. I got a pair of earrings, a necklace and a bangle “I have 12% of a plan” plus a post card and this adorable Groot plush doll. Usually, I am not a fan of subscription boxes. I always end up disappointed with the product or their size. Yet, I am loving this new concept. I am a bit of a geek and a nerd. I love Harry Potter, fantasy, Rick & Morty… So I feel like this box is perfect for me!
I think receiving pop art related items and jewellery is cooler and way more worth the money than beauty products or makeup. Indeed, you’ll keep a jewellery for so long. There is barely any risk for allergies and bad skin reactions. Not like with makeup or beauty products. So I would definitely recommend it! To fellow geeks and other people!
Did you know about Geek Chic Monthly? Had you heard about them before? If so, have you tried their box? What did you think? If not, would you consider trying it out? What do you think of the box and the concept? Tell me everything in comment!
I hope you liked this post. Thanks for reading.
See you soon,
