We don’t think we have mentioned this on our blog yet, but if you are following us on Twitter you might have heard about it. We are part of a group of bloggers that for The Blogging Friends group, this was Peta’s idea to create a whatsapp group that would bring bloggers together to chat about blogging tips, share each other’s blog posts & chat about girly topics. So for Christmas we have put together a Christmas Tag! We originally wanted to make a video and not a blog post, but thanks to flight delays and metro problems in Paris we weren’t able to get together before today, so here is a blogpost instead.
Corinne & Kirsty’s Christmas
The Christmas Tag is made of 30 christmas-related questions (as you would have guessed), so we are both going to answer these questions. We would also love to see your answers so feel free to join the chain and make your own post 🙂 (maybe next year as Christmas is nearly over 🙁 )
1. What is your favourite Christmas song?
K: It’s impossible for me to chose just one. I absolutely love Christmas songs, and especially Carol of the Bells, Jingle Bell Rocks, Happiest Christmas Tree, All I Want for Christmas & Rocking Around the Christmas Tree.
C: I don’t really have a favorite Christmas song although I really like Jingle Bell Rocks. I must also admit that I truly think the songs in Beauty and the Beast are perfect for Christmas. “Be our guest, be our guest”.
2. What is your favourite Christmas film?
K: Same, how to choose just one? I love The Santa Clause, Elf & Love Actually!
C: Beauty and the Beast and Harry Potter. Even though I know they are not really Christmas movies.

C: On the 1st of December. When the street are lit with Christmas lights, people looking for present and we start to decorate the flat.
4. What is the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?
K: As far as remember it must have been my Wii. I’ve always loved all the presents I’ve received for Christmas, but I just remember being so happy when I discovered a Wii under the wrapping paper as my father pretended I wouldn’t get one and I had to choose something else instead…
C: My first laptop. Definitely. I felt so grownup.
5. What is the worst Christmas present you’ve ever received?
K: None.. Some I cherished more than others because they were more important to me, but I’ve always loved all my presents because they are presents and someone somewhere made the effort to chose something for me to make me happy 🙂
C: A Barbie tee-shirt when I was 16 years old and when it was not yet something trendy. It was too small, too tight and absolutely ridiculous. I just didn’t get it.
6. Do you prefer traditional or modern Christmas decorations?
K: They are probably not modern decorations, just a new trend, but I really like the nordic style and minimalist decorations. I like to go for a simple white & gold or white and silver theme, but I also really like the traditional red, green and gold theme! I just don’t like the pink, blue and purple kind or theme/vibe.
C: I don’t mind. Both can be amazing. Gold and red is gorgeous. White and silver is as well. Purple and pink is funny. Really, it’s up to everybody.

K: I’ve never been on a Christmas holiday, I’ve often spent Christmas abroad with my family in the UK but that doesn’t count.. But this year I told my parents it could be a nice to put all our saving together and go on a family holiday next year as a Christmas present.
C: Same as Kirsty. Never. I was either going to my grandparents or staying at home. But I loved it nonetheless.
