In the Netflix era, we have a wide offer of TV series and binge watch them in less than a weekend. Since all episodes are available at the same time, you can watch an entire season in one day. And move onto another show. But what about these shows that you’ve binge watched once, twice, thrice? Here are the TV shows I never get tired of watching.
Is there even a need to explain? It’s a classic. All girls (and boys alike) should watch this TV show. The fashion, the lifestyle, the music, New York City… I absolutely love Serena and Blair’s fashion styles. I have discovered so many new artists through the TV show. There is a lot of drama and unlikely situations but also beautiful life lessons that we should all remember. I have watch Gossip Girl in English, French and Italian and would watch it again and again and again. It is just so good!
Don’t do this, don’t do that
This show is a French TV show. It tells the story of two families which have completely opposite views on politics, religion and education. One family tends to be quite conservative while the other is more liberal. You would expect so many clichés on both families (and there are some) but you’ll be surprised to see that they are not so different on many things. You’d also see them behave and react miles away from what you’d expect them to do. The clichés are here to make you think and show you that the most liberal are not necessarily the most tolerant. The characters are all really relatable and so funny.
Rick & Morty
My boyfriend made me watch it and I am so so grateful! This is one of the best shows I have ever watched. Rick & Morty is an adult cartoon. It is politically incorrect and mean but oh-so funny! Really! There are already two seasons available and the third one is coming out this summer. I have watched every single episode once or twice. I still laugh every time! You may not get or like the humour but you should still watch it because it is really worth it.
Greek aired for the first time in 2007. In France, it was broadcast on a cable channel and I watched few episodes here and there. Thus, I never really understood the story. I decided to watch it from the beginning and I fell in love. With the music, the actors, the drama, the relationship, the storyline, everything! The show focuses on fraternities and sororities in an American university. Here again, I have watched it so many time and so many different languages. And Cappie is just the best.
The Good Wife
Although the end left me… skeptical, I have to admit I loved this TV show. I particularly like the legal side, the suits and how good the lawyers are (and the fashion). Seeing the main characters destroying the other party’s defense is so satisfying. Marisa is hilarious, Diane is amazing, Luca has the best comebacks and Alicia… well I think her character’s changes are the most interesting part of the show. I am not saying more and letting you enjoy it. I am already hooked to the Good Wife’s spin off, the Good Fight
What about you? What are your favorite TV shows? And the one you’ve watched so often that you know all the lines?
